A north-westerly upper-level flow and drier air masses are determining the weather.
This afternoon, the sun is set to shine across much of the region, with a few high clouds.
A strong high-pressure system, combined with increasingly mild air masses, is bringing calm autumn weather.
In the morning, there will be a few clouds, particularly along the eastern main Alpine ridge, whilst patches of low stratus clouds are also possible in the Puster Valley until late morning. Elsewhere in the region, however, the sun will shine from a cloudless sky right from the start.

Wednesday will start off partly cloudy, with the sun quickly breaking through from the west. In the northernmost valleys, there will be a foehn wind and it will be relatively mild. On Thursday, it will be mostly sunny with a few clouds. Friday will bring glorious sunshine. Saturday will also be sunny with a few clouds.
