A westerly upper-level flow is carrying moderately moist air masses from the Atlantic towards the Alps.
A few cumulus clouds will form in the afternoon, and isolated showers cannot be entirely ruled out, though it will mostly remain dry. There will be a foehn wind in the northern valleys.
North-westerly winds will move increasingly dry air masses towards the Alps.
Sunny weather. During the day, a few cumulus clouds will form again, and isolated showers are possible, particularly along the border with Austria and in the Dolomites.
