In the immediate vicinity of your holiday residence in Ega there are three ski areas with a total of approx. 100 kilometres of slopes, snow parks, toboggan runs, children’s parks and ski schools. You are also in the right place for lonely winter hikes.

The ski area Obereggen
The Obereggen ski area – Ski Center Latemar is only 3.5 kilometres from your holiday home, right at the foot of Mount Latemar. 48 kilometres of slopes and 18 ski lifts, two toboggan runs and the most beautiful snow park in Italy await you here. You may enjoy the panorama of the Dolomites on the terraces of 12 alpine ski huts. The Oberholz mountain hut is an architectural highlight. Furthermore, night skiing and night tobogganing on illuminated slopes are also popular. The public ski bus, which takes you to the Obereggen valley station free of charge, leaves only 40 meters from our apartment house. Do you want even more fun on the slopes? Perhaps you would like to discover our winter landscape on secluded paths – snowshoeing, on a ski tour or cross-country skiing? Away from the ski slopes, in the untouched nature of the Dolomites, you will find winter hiking trails, excellent itineraries for snowshoe and ski tours and perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails, for example in Nova Ponente or at Lavazè Joch. The snow-covered alpine meadows of the region or natural beauties such as Lake Carezza invite you to hike in the snow at any time. Tobogganing in Val d’Ega
A proper winter holiday with your family also includes a fun toboggan run. In the ski area Obereggen, there are two fantastic toboggan runs, where you may even toboggan at night. For spontaneous tobogganing adventures, there is a toboggan rental on site. A toboggan trip is best combined with a hike to an alpine hut. There are 12 ski huts for refreshments, each with their own typical South Tyrolean alpine flair. Dive into the winter wonderland and experience the charming world of the South Tyrolean Dolomites.
